Chapter 40 - Testament awakens, tsunami in the east

[It's night and the moon is out and brightly lit. Down in South America in the mountain where Testament resides, the land suddenly begins to rumble, the side of the mountain cracks and splits open, Testament gushes out in liquid form. He's buffed up with muscles rippling all over his body, the white glow in his eye is even more demonic looking. He looks at his hands and sees the transformation that has occurred and is pleased]

This is the outcome? Very well, it will do...

[Testament changes into his water form again and gushes towards the pacific side of South America, from there he materializes and steps onto the water like it was solid ground]

Where are you... my love...

[He stomps the water hard with his left leg and a huge wave rises from underneath him and he rides it like a surf. He starts to head toward the Hawaiian Islands and he reaches it by sunrise. On the island itself the inhabitants look on as they see a huge tidal wave rushing towards them, most run in absolute horror and shock and the others stand there in mesmerized fear. But to their surprise the wave quickly slows and comes to a stop and sinks down. Testament stands before them, a few hundred feet away from the shores with his piercing demonic white eyes, he turns his back towards the crowd of people who have gathered at the beaches to witness what has happened. As if the water was as hard as the ground we all walk on, he jumps up and stomps down causing the water to rise and fissure, the result is a mega tsunami that rises like a wall of water and head towards the island yet again. On Testaments side a ramp of water leading down to the sea bed arises and Testament slides down, he comes up to a shrine that is sealed with a rock, he puts his hand on the rock and forces a jet of water through cracking it and exposing a small gold pendant]

This will bring me to you again my love, your glory will be restored and we shall destroy humanity and restore this world to it rightful ruler...

[Testament steps back onto the end of the slide and it lifts him up back to the surface, the big gapping hole is closed and the water rushes back in, he then begins to make his way to the pacific coast of California... back in New York Edge is in Central Park by himself basking in the warm summer sun, its early afternoon]

I guess it was a good idea to take a leave from school, I mean, there's no way I would've been able to concentrate with all these things going on. Recently there's been a lot of disturbances around, it's almost as if things are destabilizing, like everything is taking a turn for the worst, but yet everything is so nice. I dunno anymore, I'm just gonna live my life the way I want to.

[Edge is laying back on this rock just basking in the sun with his eyes closed, a shadow looms over and its Halo making a stupid face, Edge staggers in shock and sits up as quickly as he can]

Edge: Oh crap don't do that again, I thought you were one of those things
Halo: Chimeras? What you saying I'm ugly or sumtin?
Edge: Hahahahaha ugly is an understatement
Halo: That's messed up
Edge: Oh shut up, so sup, what you doing here?
Halo: What are YOU doing here?
Edge: ...do we really need to do this... again...
Halo: Hahhaahaa I'm just messing with you, I was suppose to meet Mary later on and I had time to spare so I figure you was here
Edge: Oh I'm that predictable am I ahahahahaa
Halo: Yeah

We continued our chat for a while before I felt the urge to wander around. Since we were in central I knew exactly where I wanted to go for some free food. Me and Halo went to the Time Warner building and went down stairs to the Whole Foods market for some free samples to snack on, afterwards we went upstairs to the Samsung Experience center where we relaxed for some internet surfing.
I surfed the net while Halo talked on the free cell phones with his girlfriend Mary. I logged into yahoo to check my email and before I logged off I notice something that caught my eye. There's was another tsunami that killed hundreds in the pacific, I went to read more about it, but before I finished the paragraph the screen went blank and I just sat there startled wondering what happened, it was then I realized it was Hacker at work. A new window opened up and it was Hacker's face plastered on the screen, he was talking to me telling me that something bad was on its way here. Halo noticed something was wrong and he told his girlfriend bye and came to my side.

[Halo, Edge and Hacker are all conversing via the computer screen]

It's... its Testament...
