Chapter 43 - The battle continues, the world takes witness

[Napalm rushes Testament and starts attacking him with a flurry of kicks, but Testament just stands there while columns of water rise from out of nowhere blocking all of his attacks]

What's with this guy it's like the water is protecting him out of nowhere...

[A ball of water forms in front of Testament and is shot out towards Napalm who counters by hitting it with a spinning hook kick. Testaments attack is deflected and sent towards a building grinding a hole into its side, sending bullets of water scattering in all directions]

Wow, I don't think I should be hit with that sort of attack...

[Napalm strikes some sparks with the heel of his sneaker and creates a wall of fire towards Testament, once he's completely engulfed Napalm rushes at Testament and leaps into the air right above Testament. He sticks out his heel with the intention of coming down on Testaments head using those plates under his sneakers. Testament just looks up with no emotion or thought, in an instant waters start to swirl around the fires and extinguishes them instantly, they then start to swirl above Testaments head right as Napalm's attack hits, it successfully blocks and then forces Napalm upwards in a spin, he lands hard onto the pavement and appears to be badly injured]

I... I don't think I can win this... I was dropped onto the pavement from like 50 feet up, he really threw me when he blocked my attack. I'll try, I'll try to beat him!

[In miraculous show of energy Napalm manages to pick himself off the pavement and as he does so he scratches his heel against the floor and sends a wave of fire at Testament, this time he retains a hand full of fire which he uses to set the surrounding cars ablaze]

Napalm: Now let's have some fun
Testament: You think a few fires will save your useless life?
Napalm: I'll show you my full power!!!

[The cars soon explode and as they do Napalm uses his powers to direct the flames towards Testament who does nothing but stand there with an arrogant stare, unknowingly to Testament though, Napalm also controls the stream of fire so it carries along the gasoline from the cars fuel tanks. The gasoline consumes Testament in an envelope of flames, Napalm still stands with a flame in his hands looking onward in Testaments direction. Suddenly the envelope of flame is pierced with a stream of water that gushes outward and spews onto the ground and then begins to move towards Napalm by picking itself up and bouncing along the ground]


Napalm: Impossible! What's going on here!?

[The water then grabs Napalm's wrist and takes the form of Testament]

Testament: That's your power? Pathetic, I know of Chimeras with more power than you

[Napalm calls out in pain as Testament slowly tightens his grip. Napalm tries to strike Testament with his other hand but he grabs that too, now both of Napalms hands are in Testaments grasp]

Testament: Simple elemental user, what hope do you possibly have
Napalm: Argh!!!

[With a few gestures from his fingers Napalm summons the fires from the surrounding and consumes them both in a fiery blaze]

If I raise the heat to my max I might be able to stop him, even if it cost me my own life...

[The fires intensify rapidly and grows in volume, this continues on for a few seconds before they suddenly die]

Testament: Wouldn't want you to die now, I am not done having "fun"
Napalm: Damn you...

[Napalm passes out and Testament lets go of his left hand. He looks around and then calls forth some water that manifest underneath him, it starts to rise lifting Testament up into the air while he stills hangs onto Napalms hand, the column of water takes Testament to the top of a building where he steps off and looks around at the destruction and smiles. Far off in the distance he notices a bunch of people looking at him they are all curious so he calls out to them]

Testament: HUMANS THIS IS YOUR FUTURE

[Testament holds up the unconscious body of Napalm]

Testament: THE TRUTH THAT HAS BEEN HIDDEN FROM YOU WILL BE REVEALED WITH YOUR DESTRUCTION

[Testament jumps of the building still holding onto Napalm and begins to walk towards the growing crowd of people]

Crowd: WHAT ARE YOU!? ARE YOU THE DEVIL?! ARE YOU GONNA KILL US?!
Testament: I am the truth of your existence, your lucky because I will spare you all, go and spread the word let the world know of terror to come
Crowd: HES THE DEVIL!!! GOD SAVE US ALL!!! RUN FOR YOUR LIVES!!!

[In one swipe of his hand he sends a small wave gushing towards the crowd and they disperse immediately running terror]
